Colorado Real Wedding: Dung Vu and James Kim’s Wedding at Villa Parker

by Angie on June 15, 2009

On Saturday, May 30th, Sapphire Celebrations had the pleasure of coordinating the wedding of Dung Vu and James Kim.

The day began with the Vietnamese Tea Ceremony at the bride’s parents home. A mid-afternoon Catholic mass at Holy Ghost Church was followed by a reception at Villa Parker. The bride’s bouquet, flower girl pomander, and groom’s boutonnière were designed by The Perfect Petal. DIY was the order of the day for centerpieces and bridesmaids’ bouquets.

A Spice of Life Catering balanced indoor vs. outdoor seating for guests, as afternoon rains threatened and receded. Guests were treated to a meal of table served Lobster Bisque Soup and a buffet offering salmon, pork tenderloin, and prime rib carving station. D Bar Desserts provided a small cake for the cutting ceremony with choice of raspberry or lemon filled cupcakes for guests.

Here are a few snapshots from Sapphire Celebrations. A sneak peak before the official shots are available from Urban Art Photography. You can also see some shots from the event on the Urban Art Photography Blog.
