No detail was spared when planning Claudia and Michael’s Colorado destination wedding last September. Guests were welcomed to their hotel rooms with personalized canvas bags filled with snacks, travel must-haves, information about Vail and an itinerary for the wedding weekend.
On the morning of the wedding, guests were shuttled in SUVs from Vail Coach through the mountains outside of Vail to the ceremony site. Once they arrived at Piney Lake and Piney River Ranch, the guests were greeted by the sounds of a jazz trio and the beauty that a 45 minute drive into a valley gets you. After a quick interfaith ceremony guests enjoyed chic box lunches, champagne and mason jar beverages under the tent.
After a leisurely lunch surrounded by nature’s beauty, guests were shuttled back to Vail and prepared for the evenings’ festivities. A jazz trio again welcomed guests as they gathered around the pool at the Sonnenalp Resort for cocktails and hors devours. Guests then moved into Ludwigs Restaurant to enjoy the delicious cuisine and receive more personal touches from the couple. At each place setting guests found their name atop menus and monogrammed leather luggage tags to take home as a reminder of the night. A glass ceiling strung with lanterns cast a romantic shadow over a perfectly appointed setting. Dinner gave way to dancing under the stars.
