How can you improve on a Scottish-style castle, as your wedding’s backdrop? Add mist rolling across the landscape, isolating the castle and its occupants; shifting perceptions; reflecting mystical moments – past and present. Cherokee Castle sits on a plateau overlooking almost 3,200 acres of wildlife sanctuary that comprise the Cherokee Ranch in Sedalia, Colorado.
The bride and her bridesmaids dressed in the Castle’s master suite. A persistent drizzle moved the ceremony to a tent on the Castle’s Veranda. Jana was unconcerned about the weather, as her parents escorted her across the Castle Court, to marry her prince—Shane. Cocktails were served inside the Castle’s Great Hall, followed by dinner and dancing in the tent.
