Charlotte and Jeffrey embraced “intimate,” as they planned their Colorado wedding celebration at The Broadmoor. The guest list was limited to five immediate family members and the couple’s border collie. Rescued from a Pueblo shelter, Cody was happy to serve as honorary ring bearer.
Adjacent to Cheyenne Lake, the South Terrace ceremony site was adorned with a rot iron trellis decorated with white lilies, champagne roses, ivy, and greenery. White freesia boutonnieres were mirrored in the bride’s hairpiece. Charlotte balanced classic elegance — a hand-tied bouquet of gardenias, champagne spray roses, and white garden roses — with a touch of personality — fuchsia heels.
Following the ceremony, the group retired to The Penrose Room in the South Tower of the Broadmoor. Cocktails in the bar were the prelude to Charlotte and Jeffrey’s first dance to “What a Wonderful World.” The party then embarked on a five star dining experience, making individual selections from personalized menus. Vintage champagne and a dessert tasting rounded out the evening.
The couple looks forward to celebrating their marriage with friends and family at parties hosted by their parents in both Colorado Springs and Minneapolis.
