Radiant Orchid is officially "the" color for 2014 weddings. How will you incorporate this color into your wedding day? We love these ideas from favecrafts.com.
As a wedding planner, you have to be prepared for any situation that could possibly be thrown at you and just handle it. Never did we expect to have to exhibit this skill at the Quality Hill Bridal Show last month.
An hour before the show was to start our table was set and ready to go when out of the corner of my eye I saw the table start to slide. Sadly one of the legs of the table was broken and wasn’t locked into place. Our beautiful flower arrangement from Somerset Floral Design came crashing down to the floor.
This is where our “roll with the punches” attitude kicked into high gear. Instead of flying off the handle, we assessed the damage and decided how to recreate our table before the show opened. Thankfully the staff and volunteers at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion were quick to help with anything we needed. We quickly had our linen in the dryer, a mop to clean up the water and new glassware to reconstruct our centerpiece.
Unfortunately, we didn’t take a picture of the completed table before it fell. Here is a photo from Somerset Floral Design before they delivered the arrangement and a photo of what we pieced together after the crash. In the end we still had a great display and enjoyed meeting a lot of wonderful couples during the show.
The moral of the story – hire an experienced planner that can “roll with the punches” on your wedding day…no matter what is thrown at them!
Thank you to Colby Elizabeth Photography for the photos.
It is a honor when a family decides that you are "their" Colorado wedding coordinator. We were very excited to get the call from Becca and Eric that they were engaged about a year after we planned Becca's sister's wedding.
Helping the couple plan their Colorado destination wedding from start to finish, we knew that this would be a unique wedding - filled with love, good food, and lots of fun!

This burlap guest book with sash is GORGEOUS! If you're having a rustic style wedding, this guest book would be the perfect addition. We love how you can customize the sash and rhinestones or pearls to match your wedding colors. And how can this gorgeous book be only $46? A bargain!
Here's a guest book alternative, in case you want to bring home an awesome piece of wall art from your wedding. This tree of life is so unique! Your guests sign their names on the leaves, and once framed, is a wonderful memory from your wedding day! You can even put fast-drying ink pads next to the tree, have your guests put their finger prints on their leaf, and then sign over their fingerprint. Hang this beautiful piece of art on so many walls in your house!
Create a unique experience for your guests! Each page of your guest book will contain 3 miniature envelopes for your guests to leave notes in. You will have a variety of colors to choose from, creating a specialized look and feel to your wedding!
