Guests loved this idea and had fun writing messages on many of the bottles wishing the newlyweds “Happy Anniversary.”
I wanted to share an idea with everyone that one of my clients did last fall at their wedding. Instead of a traditional guest book or any of the other standard replacements, they did something unique. They had ten different bottles of wine and asked their guests to write messages to them wishing them well directly on the bottles. Each bottle was labeled 1 – 10 signifying the anniversary that they will enjoy the wine and messages from their guests. They were careful to make sure that year 10 was a wine that would only be better a decade from their wedding date.
