We were honored to be included in anna bé five celebrating the fifth anniversary of anna bé, a fantastic bridal salon in Denver. Each planner was given a color to create their 1920′s inspired vingette for the event. We used the color black as the basis for our design inspiration for our space with By Design Event Decor. All of the guests loved our pink and black candy bar from Lola’s Sugar Rush.
We had the pleasure of working with Work Options for Women to plan their annual fundrasing event, WomenCook!, in May.
Work Options for Women is a Colorado nonprofit organization that helps impoverished women gain the skills and confidence they need to work their way out of poverty and become gainfully and permanently employed in the food service industry. Each year their annual fundraiser, WomenCook!, raises funds to support the organization’s mission.
Thank you to Julie Afflerbaugh Photography for sharing images from the event with us.
We are excited to be working with Work Options for Women, an amazing Colorado nonprofit organization, planning the 7th Annual WomenCook! – Dining for a Difference event.

This year’s even is on May 2, 2011 and will take place at Temple Emanuel. Attendees will join female chefs from some of Denver’s most notable restaurants for an evening of food, wine and music. During the walk-around dinner each chef will serve signature dishes while guests meet and speak directly with them—possibly learning secret culinary techniques or obtaining coveted recipes.
You can purchase your tickets online today to attend this one of a kind event.
We are thrilled to involved in this amazing organization. Please join us at the launch for the Colorado chapter to learn more about Wish Upon a Wedding and how you can get involved.
Anyone that knows me, knows that I love giving my time to philanthropy. When I heard about Wish Upon A Wedding I was excited to find something that combines my two passions – weddings and giving back to my community. The Colorado chapter is in the works and I can’t wait to get involved.
I will be working a shift as a volunteer at this wonderful event. Please plan to come by if you’re still looking for your wedding dress.
