 At Sapphire Celebrations, we don’t just plan weddings but corporate events as well! We love our loyal clients who we collaborate with each time a corporate party rolls around. Premier Roofing is one of those recurring clients, and last January we planned their annual Premier Night! This celebration is a time for employees to let loose after a day of meetings recapping the previous year. The annual awards are handed out, and everyone looks forward to the coming year with excitement!
Sara and Zach’s wedding at The Broadmoor took place in October 2020. Despite the challenges of that year, they managed to host a celebration because of their small guest count. The two are from California, so The Broadmoor was kind enough to connect them with our team! We loved planning and designing their destination wedding at The Fish House, The Broadmoor’s intimate cabin venue.
Fall Wedding at The Broadmoor
From the beginning, Sara and Zach knew they wanted a small group of loved ones to share their wedding day. After some research, they selected The Fish House as their venue for their wedding at The Broadmoor. The venue’s location in the middle of a golf course beside a fly fishing pond boasts seclusion and rustic charm. In other words, it’s perfect for intimate weddings! As the couple’s ceremony drew near, golf carts provided by the resort shuttled their guests to the gorgeous waterfront location.
Our favorite part of the couple’s ceremony design was their unique archway! Their florist, Southern Charm, used a willow tree at the site to create a stunning natural design. Roses in autumnal shades of ivory, peach, and dusty lavender trailed from a branch down the trunk of the tree. Meanwhile, the afternoon light glimmered off the surface of the pond. As Sara walked down the aisle, a live cellist played “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley. There couldn’t have been a lovelier setting for the two to wed! Reception at the Fish House
For dinner, guests moved inside The Fish House, where a long table adorned with roses and flickering candles awaited them. With a stone fireplace, Southwestern decor, and soft lighting, the space was cozy as can be! Guests located their assigned seats by looking among the laser-cut wooden place cards atop each napkin. This is a great way to personalize your table design which can double as a keepsake for your guests!
After a delicious dinner courtesy of The Broadmoor’s in-house chefs, guests enjoyed an ice cream bar complete with toppings. And of course, no wedding day would be complete without cake! The two-tiered design with “naked” icing was perfect for the intimate group. Meanwhile, a one-man-band from Imprint Group provided music for dining and dancing! His set-up on the patio allowed him to act as DJ, MC, and performer for guests to enjoy. The biggest thanks to Sara and Zach for trusting us with their special day!
