As a Denver event planning company, we love working with local businesses and non-profits to plan their events. This Havana Nights-themed corporate party at Asterisk Denver was no exception! Premier Roofing is a loyal client, and we’ve enjoyed working with them to plan several of their events over the years. When their marketing team approached us with the idea of a Havana Nights theme for the company’s annual end-of-year party, we knew the result would be fabulous! Planning a Corporate Party at Asterisk DenverWe worked with Premier Roofing to plan this event from the ground up, including venue and vendor selection, design, and day-of management. The party pictured below occurred after a full day of meetings that we also helped them plan. The client’s marketing team brainstormed the Havana Nights theme, and we helped them expand their idea into a full design concept and hire vendors who could bring it to life. Embracing the unique theme necessitated a space that could act as a blank canvas for our decor vision. Moreover, Premier required a space that could fit 400 attendees and allowed an outside caterer, which was a must-hire for them. This wishlist presented a challenge, but we found the perfect fit in Asterisk Denver! The downtown location was convenient, the space was large enough to accommodate all attendees, and outside catering was permitted (check, check, and check!). Not only that, but the fresh, modern space left plenty of room for imagination. Havana Nights Themed EventThis Havana Nights-themed party was part of an end-of-year event that Premier Roofing holds for its employees every January. A full-day meeting highlighting the company and its employees’ accomplishments over the past year kicks off the day. Then, everyone gathers in the evening to celebrate! The cold invariably presents a challenge when planning this event, but this year presented an unusual dilemma when an arctic freeze descended on Colorado the same week. Thankfully, the attendees had transportation to keep them warm on their way to the party, and the check-in area at Asterisk Denver allowed them to stand indoors while checking in. Havana Nights came to life inside the venue with eye-popping, vibrant decor! From the flowers to the catering stations and even the DJ booth, neon shades of blue, lime, orange, and pink evoked a tropical nightclub. Footers Catering served their reliably delicious food and embraced Cuban flavors to treat the attendees to a truly unique, multisensory experience. Meanwhile, DJ MANOS ensured the dance floor was full all night! We’re so glad we could assist Premier Roofing with planning this spectacular event! Events like these are a wonderful way to boost corporate morale, and we know this Havana Nights-themed party accomplished that goal. Designing the space at Asterisk Denver was a pleasure, and we look forward to working with their team again in the future! Are you gearing up to plan your next corporate or non-profit event? We understand this and will remove the bulk of the workload from your plate while keeping you in the loop of decisions with consistent, reliable communication. Our extensive experience and network of connections will streamline the entire process so your event comes together quickly, efficiently, and seamlessly. Hiring a planner ensures a smooth and successful event. With event planning, the simple truth is that you don’t know what you don’t know. Attempting to plan a non-profit event without experience could result in a few harmless blunders—or mistakes that dramatically undermine the event’s success. But as professional planners, we’ve seen it all and are experts in disaster mitigation. We’ll ensure a smooth execution of your event with air-tight planning and eye-catching design that will wow your donors. Hiring a planner allows you to focus on hosting.Your most important role at your non-profit event is that of the host—welcoming familiar faces and forging new connections—not the event coordinator. Yet for those who attempt to do both, hosting falls to the back burner as various behind-the-scenes efforts and troubleshooting take precedence. With a planner as your ally, you’re free to spend your time on what matters, with the confidence that our team is working tirelessly to ensure the event goes off without a hitch. Hiring a planner helps you make the most of your budget.Whether you’re working with a tight or big budget, effectively allocating funds is a challenge for most inexperienced event planners. You may unknowingly overspend in one area, only to discover you don’t have enough money remaining for a more crucial component. Or you may not realize which facets of your event are most worthy of an investment. Either way, consulting a planner’s wisdom and experience will help you use your budget to its full advantage. Hiring a planner makes your event more memorable. We’ve also been to ho-hum corporate and non-profit events that didn’t leave much of an impact! If planning a memorable non-profit event is your goal, hiring a planner can help you achieve it. From statement-making design to delicious food to engaging activities, a planner can draw from their vast experience and network of connections to ensure your event is just as enjoyable as it is successful.
