Liz and Jay postponed their wedding due to COVID-19 but still decided to make their original wedding date special. We asked them to share with you all their experience. “Just as any couple would be, we were incredibly disappointed to have to postpone our wedding due to Covid-19 restrictions. We had toyed with the idea of just eloping but really wanted to be able to celebrate our love with all our family and friends. And still wanted to have the wedding we had spent so much time, effort, and money planning! So we changed all our vendor reservations and sent out the postponement details.
We just couldn't get past our desire to get married on our original date, so we decided to do both! We picked an alternate, completely different location, I got a second, more casual dress, and my Aunt performed our ceremony in front of just a few local friends. It was such a lovely and intimate wedding ceremony. We're so happy to be able to be married now and we'll still get to have our big celebration with our loved ones at a later date!” Congratulations Liz and Jay! We cannot wait to help you celebrate with you, your family and your friends soon! photo Alli Weitzel Photography Comments are closed.
