We helped Kristin and Corey plan their wedding from start to finish over several years. They were our first COVID reschedule, then our final COVID wedding that came to fruition! Although they chose to elope ahead of time, they finally got to say “I do” in the presence of their loved ones on June 25th, 2022. We helped them find all but their venue, Space Gallery, to bring their unique vision to life! Ceremony in the Space Gallery LoftWhile we had planned for an outdoor ceremony, the weather forecast promised rain all weekend. So, we moved the event into the loft of Space Gallery! The couple’s modern decor fit perfectly with the minimal aesthetic of the space. Their round archway framed a piece of abstract art on the wall, while an installation of unique purple flowers by Newberry Brothers topped it off. In addition, bud vases filled with more purple flowers (Kristin’s favorite!) lined either side of the aisle for a lush feel that imitated an outdoor garden. Of course, the rain never showed up—but I’m still so glad we went with Plan B! Reception with a Tattoo Truck and Colorado CuisineKristin and Corey didn’t want a run-of-the-mill celebration for their reception at Space Gallery. Instead, they wanted something unique to appeal to the multiple generations in attendance, including their parents and adult children. With that in mind, they came up with the idea to have a modern reception with a nightclub theme. We loved that idea and had so much fun bringing it to life. For a casual vibe, we arranged mixed seating in the main gallery with options for eating and lounging. A white couch with purple throw pillows from Bear Aesthetic and sleek Italia chairs from Charming Chairs brightened the space and tied the look together. Meanwhile, a karaoke machine and a mobile tattoo artist filled the evening with plenty of entertainment. That’s right—nine guests, including the groom’s 80-year-old mother, got real tattoos from Sydaeus Tattoo! Delicious food was also a must-have for Kristin and Corey. They wanted a buffet-style meal that would be filling but informal. So, we worked with our tried-and-true caterer, Footers, to create the perfect menu! From street tacos to “Colorado Caprese” featuring local ingredients, it was truly a mouthwatering affair. Then, the High Point Creamery ice cream cart served up all the bride and groom’s favorite flavors for a sweet finish. Work with Sapphire CelebrationsIt was amazing to see Kristin and Corey’s wedding at Space Gallery come to life after years of planning.
