Molly and Richie are both chiropractors who met while pursuing their medical degrees at Life University in Marietta, GA. By the time they were ready to say “I do,” they were planning a move to Colorado to set up their chiropractic office. However, they did not yet live in the state and had no idea where to start with planning a wedding here. That’s where we come in! Molly and Richie inquired about our Colorado wedding planning services, and we helped build their SkyView at Fall River Village wedding from the ground up. Planning an Italian Wedding in Estes Park

When Molly and Richie first contacted us, they weren’t sure which part of Colorado would be the best fit for hosting their wedding. Angie, our point of contact for all our clients, helped them uncover their venue vision: an outdoor setting with breathtaking views, options for catering and bar, and onsite lodging. Together, they perused venues throughout the Colorado mountains. It wasn’t long before they discovered Skyview at Fall River Village, tucked in the Rocky Mountain gateway town of Estes Park! With panoramic views of the Front Range and a quintessentially Colorado feel, they knew they had stumbled on the perfect location for their celebration.

Then, it was time to build their vendor team from our network of local talent. The couple envisioned a “bougie Italian wedding” as a nod to Richie’s heritage, so we sought out the best in the Denver area to bring their wildest wedding dreams to life! In particular, food was a number-one priority. Footers, whom we have collaborated with countless times, always delivers a delicious menu full of fresh ingredients alongside impeccable service. Naturally, they were our first choice for the day, so we were thrilled when they could come on board!

For their reception inside the SkyView lodge, Molly and Richie originally envisioned a soft, minimal color palette. However, they attended a family member’s wedding six months before their own and realized that the colors and design were very similar to our current plans. They came to us with their concerns, and with months to go, we flipped the design on its head! We went for a bold color palette inspired by the brilliant fall leaves in the Rockies and couldn’t be more pleased with the result.

Statice Floral created centerpieces for each table with orange roses, red dahlias, and a hint of blue thistle. But the best surprise was the fuchsia peonies they sourced that brightened the entire space with their deep color! To prevent their effect from becoming overwhelming, we kept the remainder of the design minimal, with white tablecloths and gold accent linens. Gold candlesticks and table numbers completed the look in keeping with the upscale theme. Elevate Photography captured all of it so beautifully!
